BIG TIME REALITY CHECK! Even tho' i technically turned the big three-oh 2 months' ago, this is the 1st time i totally felt my age. Rang home and mom said she is retiring from work next month. What? Not ever working again? Come again? How did this happen so fast? Oh wait, she's almost 55, and i'm, wait... an adult now. It can't be happening so soon ... i'm the kid in the family, they are supposed to be the responsible ones. I don't even have enough money to support them (not that they are expecting this from me, 'cos they are smart). Are adults suppose to still wear their dirty Converse to work? Are adults suppose to still think freelancing is the coolest job in the world? Boy, do i have alot of growing up to do ... and quick too.
