Took another trip to the beach house today to visit the 2 slackers still living it up there. After the drunken phonecall from them in the middle of Idol Finals last night, i got a tad bit worried they might have already finished the bottle of Baileys (among others) i left for them so i thought i'll go check on the gals. The drive there was alright, it's a little boring driving down one long straight highway for 40 mins by yourself but at least i had great music in the car. We headed down to the beach to get some sun but after scouting around a few of them, the general realisation is that after a storm, the seaweed population usually multiplies .. and i mean by alot! So we did the next best thing, buy some totally yum seafood home and cooked it for lunch. Then we literally went downhill from there, we hit the couches and never got up till it was waaaayyyy past dinner time. So much for a day of fun in the sun. Instead it turned out to be a lazy day on the couch. Oh, i think i'm officially on the semi-dole now ... they seem to be giving me some money. Woo-hoo! Didn't think that will happen.
