HAPPY 2004 ! Brand new colours for a brand new year. It's a work-in-progress at the moment. New Year's was alright. We did exactly the same thing we did last year - drowning ourselves in cocktails at the Lama Bar. It was pretty quiet around the Subiaco area, which was nice. I wasn't really looking forward to arm wrestling with crowds. Had my first 2004 "breakfast" around 1am at Fast Eddies. Spent the rest of new year's day at work watching new yorkers at Time Square. And thinking the exact same thing as i did a year ago :"Man, i need to go there for new years soon." Despite being alone in the graphics department, and watching it on live feed tv, and despite it being 1pm in perth and the whole novelty gone, i was feeling quite excited for those ten thousands of people in Times Square counting down to their midnight. I've decided i need resolutions this year, just for the heck of it. I have decided this will be the year i will stop buying black. I will start reading my horoscope again after my one year hiatus (that was my 2003 resolution - dont ask). And i will try to start refraining from buying any more new jeans. Have a good year peeps!
