Okay, so we finally did this spontaneous/unplanned/kinda planned/almost didnt happen/but end up going on the roadtrip on saturday. Phew, its just tiring thinking about it. What started out as an idea to drive down to Swan Valley for a day, then we set a day to do it and then, the night before, all hell broke loose. Plans were interrupted with car troubles, unexpected arrivals at the airport and a moneybag (it's complicated). So at 3:00am on saturday morning, just before we hit the sack, we decided to postpone the trip and watch a movie instead. At 9:30am, all hell broke loose and we thought dammit, lets just do the roadtrip! So technically, it was unplanned... kinda. So the 'spontaneous trip' consist of plenty of wine tasting, packed sandwich lunches, pretending to be astronauts to a very friendly farmer, cheap grapes, a yucky cheese factory, eating too much free chocolates and back in time to pick up at the airport. Thank god the rest of the day was less hectic. A nice rest at home, a trip to McDonalds and chilli mussels for dinner. I needed sunday to get over saturday. SEE PHOTOS HERE.
