TAKE ME BACK TO THE START

26 February 2004, Thursday

Someone wants me to work for them. It's going to be a full-time spot, probably a great pay and the best bits, i'll be working with people i know and really like. Decisions, decisions, decisions. I haven't made up my mind yet, i'm waiting for that one thing that will make me decide ... What will that be? i dont know. But it usually happens. And i can safely say it didnt happen when i was power-walking on that treadmill today. And it sure didn't happen when i was gobbling down that big piece of murtabak (indian pancake) after that either. Remember my coffee buddy Beebs? Well, since i have started working alot more, we have neglected our weekly coffee sessions at GJs (back in the days when i was semi-unemployed and she was a slack uni student). But now we seem to have created a new caffeine routine where she'll meet me once a week at work and we hop across the road to get our caffeine fix (sometimes topped with a scoop of ice cream up the road). But i miss the the old place; the big comfy sofas, the warm chocolate-coloured walls, and most of all, the delicious caramel syrup swirling on top of my latte.
