I wish i had 2 more days to call the weekend. After a rather sleepy friday night consisting of japanese takeaways and video rentals, saturday was definitely a stark contrast of running around and hanging out. I was helping out my designer friend Pat at her cool store (Preacher in Mt Lawley) taking photos for her new catalogue. We didn't get too much done 'cos lots of it was drizzled with catch-up talk and trying on new clothes. Bad, bad, bad. After 6 hours of 'work' we headed to the Must Bar down the street for a well-deserved drink ONLY to head down to the Soto cafe after that for a post-drink coffee to sober up. We are sooooo out of the league we used to be! Shame on us. You would think i'll be all bummed out and ready to go home but after that much alcohol and caffaine in me, i was not ready for sleep. Headed to the casino with sherrie to try and make a quickie buck. Green must have been my lucky colour 'cos i won $30 on the slots. Today had late arvo home-brewed beer at an ex-workmate house and then scored a free homecooked dinner at my friend Harry's place. To sum it up, this weekend i won $30, got given a free skirt from Preacher and got a free yummy dinner. Wish all weekends could be like this. PREACHER PHOTOS HERE.
