Yesterday started out really bad. The weather was horrid, i got caught in the rain, my trusty $9 umbrella decided to flip backwards during peak hour traffic, people walk by me grinning, and i KNOW what they are smiling about. I got to work, i was cold all day. But come sunset, things started to change. Ice-cream waffles for dinner, a nice drive to North Freo and watching The Hampdens play at Mojos. It was supercool. It was a tad embarrasing wondering if they remembered to leave our names at the door. They did, and mind you, the list wasn't long either. I was impressed. Even if our names were scribbled with fluro-green highlighter. I spent the last 2 days listening to their CD, trying to familarised myself with their preppy-rock music. I'm beginning to really like them. I came home buzzing with half-deaf ears and thinking to myself, this are the little things in life that makes it so great : a bunch of great musicians, singing great songs and plenty of Rogers beer.
