BACK TO THE START

19 SEPTEMBER 2004. SUNDAY. 10:56PM.

Spring calls for some serious closet spring clean. Out goes thick woollie winter gear (oh dear, i have this many jumpers?), which leaves new room for (more?) spring clothes. After discovering more clothes i have stored in my gigantic travel luggage - the one below the bed, i gasped at the mountainous heap of clothes i now own to date. It's not a pretty sight. I am, for the first time in my entire existance, horrified at the unecessary qantity of fabric i paid good money for. It's digusting. The poor kids in Africa, I could have fed them well had i stopped myself at 2 pairs of jeans, instead of 5 (yes, add 1 more to the collection as of last friday). I could be living off this current closet collection for the next 10 years without missing a trend. I shouldn't need to shop any more. I have everything, practically. Erm, maybe one more bag... OH STOP IT. I hang my head in shame. I AM a clothes whore.

It's been a weekend of just doing stuff. I lazed, I gym-ed, I went to the movies, I watched DVDs, I read, I drank coffee, I popped-in for more coffee, donuts and conversations on the couch, I went into Subi and paid to cook my own food.
