Who knew it will take me 6 whole years before i did the 'touristy' thang at Fremantle? Today i discovered the Maritime Museum (freebie) and the Round House (another freebie) thanks to Brenda who was my pseudo tourguide. Her commentary ain't too bad either. A good history lesson today was. Of course, the trip didn't start off as an educational trek. The MAIN reason was to catch up for lunch at the 'usual beer spot'. I have to say, going there before the sun set sure makes a huge difference. For one, i can't muster too much before midday, the stomach just won't take in alot of ale that early. Secondly, the staff just don't look as good as at dusk. It must be the effects of natural light. I'm spent right now. After the huge curry night out yesterday, topped with mooncake for dessert, watching the Star Wars DVDs and getting alot of sunshine today, i'm beat. The bones are old and weary. Holy cow. I need a granny nap.
