So to be different this year, instead of dressing up and looking totally silly and drinking alot to forget how silly you really look, i decided to go and get myself seriously spooked for Halloween. I wanted the real deal. I wanted shivers, I wanted to see something from the corner of my eye, I wanted strange figures hovering in the background of my photos. Fremantle Prison had a Halloween twilight special and we signed up for the last tour. Sad to say, the only thing that caught my attention were the bunch of drunken tossers who wouldn't shut up all throughout the tour, killing any creepy atmosphere. How i wanted to shove their arses into the cells and throw away the key. Despite the lack of ghostly sightings, it was an enjoyable night of learning prison history and getting entertained by random actors hired to jump out of coffins and run towards us with knifes. Other stuff I did during the week that went : buying shoes that smell of bubblegum (i swear its true), getting dragged out of bed at 11:30pm to go out, watched a movie about born-again christians (hilarious for not realising i was wearing my Jesus Is My Homeboy tshirt ... the irony!!) and turning bright red at a work meeting when Tim told everyone about this website.
