So it was a 33 degree Tuesday and the night didn't cool down that much either. But it was perfect for an al fresco late night dinner of fish, squids and chips. People were out and about, Leederville was bustling with kids finishing their TEEs. The vibe was good. Summer has arrived. Spent the night chatting over delicious food, talking about life, love and work. Discussions about getting some and losing some, about throwing your hands in the air and giving up; about lost friends, family secrets and a cute cafe barista; about travelling to thailand, new york and paris (not all at the same time); about fate and the lack of; about christmas in 5 weeks and a worldwide secret santa campaign. Despite missing out on a Notebook movie session, this turned out to be a great night out. I love it when things don't work out and end up heaps better than originally planned.
