Outdoor cinemas. What a wonderful experience. This will be my new favourite thing to do this summer. Despite the bunch of restless yapping, trendsetting anorexic iGeneration (that's apparently replacing the Gen-Y) posse lounging in front of us, i totally digged last night. During boring bits of the movies (National Treasure and The Station Agent), i looked towards the stars and entertained myself remembering names of the constellations. Even the mossies kindly left my naked ankles alone. Tips for next time : bring along a supersize mat and build yourself a fortress; enough pillows to prop the entire body a good 8 inches off the ground; sushi platter from Jaws 'cos it will make everyone else soooo jealous and it sure beats pizza and sasuage sizzles; sip coffee S-L-O-W-L-Y 'cos it travels thru' the digestive system pretty darn fast; and pray that the guy asleep next to you ain't a snorer. Weekend was awesome, I'm thankful for cool summer nights and awesome venues like these in perth. Wicked.
