Lin's not gonna be happy with this photo. I hope she forgets that i have this website! Last friday night i spent a good couple of hours in a smokey lounge, we were sipping bourbons and smoking cigarettes, and talking about what happened to our lives in the last 9 years. Patrick and I met in art school in 1995 and we never tried very hard to keep in touch. As life is full of surprises, one conversation about unappetizing business names (Fourskin) led to another at work and someone there happened to have his email address! That was a month ago. Can you believe it? It was like it was meant to happen. So over a few drinks & many toilet trips, we filled in our blanks about life, love & everything else in between. Most of the fascinating bits were about his life of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll. It was hilarious to hear his stories about hobnobbing with famous design gurus and crazy relatives & many many more influentional design gods. Most of all i love the fact that even with 9 years between now and our last conversation, we still remember it like it happened yesterday. I'm all packed and ready to leave. Not sure when i'll be back again but this trip gave me plenty of memories to carry me over till then. Ciao bellas!
