This is what happened during my 6-weeks brush with the dreaded 'C' word : a great of waiting and waiting, an eternity not knowing, mood swinging between panicking and keeping cool, meditating and talking out loud, listening and researching, and in the last week, finally accepting the possibility and moving forward. Thankfully, mine was a happy ending. i got the all clear, left with just a few stitches and a few days of force-fed anesthesia (woo-hoo!). No one can understand the gift of health until you have it taken away from you. It's kinda like that saying 'you never never know if you never never go!'. Well, not really like that but i like the way that rolls off your tongue! Anyway ... there's heaps of press about these LIVESTRONG (SEE WEBSITE HERE) wristbands so i'm not gonna explain about them.
