24 MAY 2005. TUESDAY. 10:58PM.
It's going to be one of those weeks, everything will surround food. The universe is spinning endlessly around meal times. It determines where we go, what we do, and most importantly, what we wear. Sizzling hot pans means leave your favourite jacket at home, lots of gravy spillage ... out comes the old black 'camouflage' tshirts. You get the picture. The feast fest started off on monday morning with 2 boxes full of the incredible Jean Claude's pastries for breakfast (matt celebrating the birth of the Baha'i faith. We love Baha'is at work, they celebrate ALOT with pastries). Scoff'in down chocolate mud cakes, crossiants, strawberry tarts ... hell if all monday mornings could start this way. Craving for more curry (like i havent had enough already), i took the parents out for some dosai and nann to get some hearty spice in them to battle the cold. I try not to think how much i'm paying for this when i can have the same for 1/4 of the price back home in Little India. Sigh, you can only make do with what you have!
