07 SEPT 2005. WEDNESDAY. 07:32PM.
The girl is BAAACCKKK! It's been a tough 72 hours y'all. My head still ain't in tune with my body since we left new york. I wake up hungry for pizzas and hotdogs and sleep without dinner. I sit at work half-dazed, jokes fly over my head unnoticed and i get really cranky come 3pm. We've been feeding off my new york stash of Hersheys choc bars (Reese has been voted most popular, we are starting to ration those in case the supply runs out too soon) and my first sip of our local coffee takeaway was pure H.E.A.V.E.N. My new button maker still sits in its UPS box unwrapped, i have yet to try on my out-of-body-retail-purchase of a pair of extremely overpirced funky Miss Sixty jeans. I hope this post-new york state of mind will shake off soon 'cos i have a well-deserved chill party this weekend which i am in dire need of. New York has been all that it was suppose to be, topped with a few surprising and shocking revelations. Could i ever be a new yorker? Maybe, after i have some serious words with the weather bureau. Right now i'm happy to be back in a place where i can find great coffee, miles and miles of space and friends who miss me that much while i was away that they had pretend conversations with me. Who needs the craziness of new york when i have so much of it around me now?
