My weekend of supposed hybernation turned into a sunday full of girlie matters. A trip into the city with the housemate for a nice chai latte ended up being a 5-hour girlie hangout topped with honeycombed cheesecake and chai for a start, a free facial and head massage at Shiseido, a new purchase of a possible something-to-wear-to-the-upcoming-weddings and becos-i've-been-eyeing-on-it-and-its-finally-on-sale skirt, browsing thru' the stores during the start of fashion week, an early evening sushi pitstop and plenty of chats. I miss hanging out in the city on a lazy sunday, in before the shops open, and out just as their doors shut. Then monday came too quickly, but a nice impromptu lunch with the lovely miss ericamerica lifted spirits and it turned into more girly talk of what to wear, where to buy and oops, did i completely miss the mooncake festivities? Being the token educator of all things oriental at work, i walked in search for some decent (and affordable) post-festival half priced mooncakes but damn, i swear they knew i was coming 'cos those damn things don't come cheap! And why aren't they even half-priced yet? People, the festival is O.V.E.R. ... start slashing prices already!
