Oooooh boy. Where do i start? Good news or bad news first? Let's get the horror stories over and done with... Here's the gist. Freaky neighbour paying me a visit on sunday, hearing horror stories of the neighbourhood, no hot showers yet, dramas with installing a phone line, druggies living down the street. The good news ... i LURVE the insides of my apartment (which by the way doesn't look like the photos of carrie's pad at the moment). I thought i was careful with choosing the right spot, i checked it in the day, i drove by at night. But i guess you never know till you move in and meet the neighbours and hear the stories. The change is definitely a huge one, new street, new suburb, new people living in close proximity. Not knowing who they are, getting used to new noises. After speaking to a few well-experienced renters, they assure me this is all normal. Hell, if this is normal, i don't know what ABNORMAL will be! From now on, i want to live in a bubble, all i want to hear are nice things and smell only sweet roses .... and have sound-proof doors and windows so i won't hear strange people knocking on my door!
