What a mind-blowing week it has been ... with apartment dramas and re-adjusting to new living arrangements. Inside my apartment space, i feel at home. However, living so close to new neighbours, some whom i can see right into their living rooms, takes a bit of getting used to. I've seen them walking around the courtyard, coming home at wee hours in the morning, i've seen the 2 guys living together (possible GAY.- not that there's anything wrong with that) giving me the evil eye after taking up their unmarked parking spot, i've met a nice family moving out this weekend, who unfortunately for me shared some of their horror stories of the neighborhood (that was information i didn't need thanks). i haven't unpacked completely, i've even thought of breaking lease at some point and running back to the old suburbian house into the comforting arms of familiarity. I've watched sunrise from the balcony, i've drank coffee at 5:30am sitting in my front door, i've peeked outside to see who is awake before i go to bed. I'm not sure if this place is plain weird, or was the moon the cause of all the commotion lately .... but i'm hell sure i still WON'T HAVE hot water in the shower when i wake up tomorrow morning! (Dammit!) Thank god for a Dunsborough retreat this weekend...
