REASONS WHY I GOT OFF MY LAZY ARSE AND WENT SHOPPING TODAY :

1. Last weekend of xmas shopping and i need to buy xmasy stuff.

2. i can't find anything to re-gift! (kidding!). A $5 kringle is soooo hard to buy for! $5 worth of jellybeans? $5 worth of wasabi peas? 2 pens and a chuppa chup?

3. Checking out prices for a vacum cleaner ... ugh, so practical and not entirely self-satisfyling at all, except to have clean carpet.

4. Maybe i could afford a coffee machine? Hmmm, still nope.

5. i had to load up on some xmas day reading (trash magazines and more trash magazines) in case all they are showing on tv is more carols by candlelight and another repeat of that Moses (or Elvis) movie ...

6. To get myself something new 'cos i haven't been contributing to the economy for awhile and my credit card was looking a little dusty.

7. I needed coffee ('nuf said)
