Christmas is almost over and i haven't even break out my holiday trash mag stash yet. It has been a wonderful little festive break for me with me getting acquainted with my new living space, and celebrating it by throwing a dinner party last night and today having a BBQ down in the valley at a beautifully built home. With preparations taking most of my time in the last few days getting the apartment in order for visitors last night, i was rushing to places, ducking in and out of IKEA (yes! finally), picking up something red for the space (i was craving visually for something red) and ended up deciding on red bath and shoe mats. How terribly uninteresting! I haven't felt a tinge of the festive mood this year, not even after going into the city and surrounding myself with christmas ornaments and half-priced hampers. I did however join in the last minute shoppers and treated myself to some funky little angel wings. Afterall, it's the season to be giving (myself). Tonight i'm gonna stay in, eat the leftover pizzas, cakes and ginger biscuits, and watch a DVD on my kickass couch. Tomorrow i'm back at work eating leftover pizzas, cakes and ginger biscuits ... you get the picture. Happy hols peeps!
