09 JULY 2006. SUNDAY. 09:25PM.
This is my new mind set, have the lowest expectations and end up having the greatest night ever. Everything went right on friday night, from not having to drive into the Dome (bypassing the insane traffic), and getting a ride back with friends, to getting so much closer to the stage than expected (an event staffer laughed at my 'there's an even closer section than this?' reaction, to not having the need for a toilet break once in the 4 hours after drinking wine at dinner! Youth Group was insanely good live, i'm going back to work tomorrow and putting them on more rotation on my iTunes. Then there were the man-crush screams from the boys around me. I lurrrvveeee yooooouuuuu Chris! And also from the girls. Was i ever like this in my impressionable adolescent years? Shoot me now if i ever remember a moment. It was a great gig, probably my last Coldplay one unless they decide to go back to basics and play in smaller venues. I can't imagine being all the way back there where i can't even tell what the colour of their shirts are. We got lucky this time. THESE PHOTOS will show you how lucky we got with our tickets. I came home buzzing from the adrenaline and slept very late only to get woken bright and early the next day to fix a work problem. If i weren't in such a good mood, i would have been pissed.
