30 JULY 2006. SUNDAY. 11:25PM.

Stella and I made our way to the movies on a saturday morning with my freebie media screening invite scored from work. We did a good job waking up early and getting there with spare time for a takeaway perk-us-up coffee across the street. The Luna theatre had a musky smell which reminded me of a vintage shop and enough leg room to stretch lazily. Why can't airline seats be this spacious?! Before the movie started, Stella and i caught up with news from our two worlds; nothing much from my end except to showoff my new tattoo. Brick was enjoyable but i couldn't quite follow the dialogue. The damn words were tumbling out of their mouths such high speeds. I wished they had subtitles. My lack of street cred left me severely handicapped with decrypting slangs, Stella pointed out after the movie on the flyer we had with the meanings of the slang used. Ahhh, i didn't know i had to come prepared. We stopped by Leaf for some cupcakes and chai lattes as promised after our failed attempt the last time. We shared cupcakes and choc cookies, and downed it with delicious chai. We walked and window shopped until it was time for a deserving late afternoon nap! I should make more of a saturday morning like we did today.
