03 DECEMBER 2006. SUNDAY. 11:07PM.

Despite the whole new daylight savings out-of-wack schedule in place today, i managed to show up for lunch at the right time, slightly later than planned but nonetheless i had it figured out. I was impressed that the lads did not end up confusing themselves with my lack of time knowledge email earlier this week, falsely stating that though we moved lunch an hour earlier, technically we were eating at the same time if you ignore the new time settings. Technically, we were 2 hours ahead of the original scheduled lunch so really we were eating breakfast. I suck at this whole daylight savings maths. Anyway lunch at the winery was brilliant. I had a piece of delicious char-grilled steak (a rare choice but i'm still trying to get some heavy duty iron in me) and we down a bottle of wine (when in rome). Then of course since we were in this neck of the woods, we headed for the Choc Factory and continued to load ourselves up with sugar until i could not bare to take another bite of my cake in fear of kick starting a migraine attack. I reckon i was so close. I am pleased to say I am DONE with my xmas shopping. My time in the toy section has officially ended until the next toddler birthday arises. VALLEY PHOTOS HERE .
