I have found my new favourite place back home. Tuck away in the corner next to the very fabulous Max Brenner cafe is a quaint little tea room that can easily transport you back to the old Elizabethan days. The durian-top Esplanade will always hold a special place in my heart, afterall way before it was completed, we worked really hard on a reveal project and I spent countless of hours designing and animating a piece showcasing the endless possibilities of this venue. So there's heaps of sentiments walking around the venue ... we always had the first look before anyone else. Ahh, precious little one. So to discover this gorgeous tea room is wonderful. My lovely friends and i sat down for a cuppa and a devilish blue berry cake. I felt slightly posh and sitting in Oprah's living room (i HAVE seen photos), my legs were crossed and i could not bring myself to swear. I am going to have the afternoon to myself today. So while the crew back at work are celebrating at the go-kart ring and plenty of heavy drinking afterwards, I plan to take dad's car out for a cruisey spin and avoid heavy meals at all cost in preparation for the buffet event tomorrow that defines every holiday trip i make. Oh and in between, i plan to join in some festive boozing as well. Enjoy your holiday weekend folks!
