THE OBLIGATORY YEAR END LIST OF EVENTS THAT MADE IT TO MY TOP FAVES:

- Music concerts. This one tops the charts. Never been so close, never happier. Secondhand pot inhalation never came at a better time.

- This little guy. Because of him, the pressure is now off me and I haven't heard parental queries of my future since he popped. Good on ya kid. Welcome to the posse.

- Weekend in KL. I can't believe how disappointed we were when we discovered we paid MYR$5 more for a pair of fake sneakers than the vendor around the corner. The shoes only cost AU$15.

- My second ink. I have no words for my joy.

- Weekend at the beach house. Two big wild nights with the lads from work and stories to tell long after.

- Discovering my favourite breakfast meal. I would totally get out of bed before 9am on the weekends for this.
