BACK TO THE START

20 MARCH 2007.TUESDAY. 09:12PM.

I don't even like honey that much. A mini drama unfolded over the weekend in my apartment that threw all plans i had out the door. Well more like trapping me inside swamp watching. It started with me watching a huge, and i really meant HUUUGGGEEEE swamp of bees circling outside my balcony and I helplessly watched the thousand-strong pack settle on my wall. Of all the walls they could have chosen ... they wanted mine. I sat there half in awe, but mostly scared out of my wits as i watch the bees migrate to their new home. Half wishing that this would be a temporary solution for them (Google tells you bee stuff) but hours later, I resigned to the fact that this was their new honey-making home. After much swearing and more Googling, the compound caretaker knocked on my door to inform me that emergency pest control have been notified. Shit, emergency? Like they mean this is not normal? Of course, no one wanted to work the weekend, after all it was St Patrick's Day. Thank god the Bee Man came and took the bees (with the fresh honey) back with him by the time i got home from work yesterday and now i am left with the dead ones that didn't go nicely with him. This episode has left me inheriting something new .... frigging Apiphobia. NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED BUT I KNOW YOU WANT A CLOSER LOOK.
