03 MAY 2007. THURSDAY. 10:39PM.
So much to plan, too little time to do. It's less than 24 hours away and I have nothing to wear. The girls and I have tickets to The Sound Of Music Sing-A-Long tomorrow night at the Regal Theatre and I am going to bed with nothing remotely resembling any nuns, Austrian boys or German soldier uniforms to wear to it. I'm frantically googling for any images of costumes that I could easily pick out form my closet and the closest thing I can find are knee high white socks and vintage pumps. I'm tempted to show up in my PJs, but the walk from the car to the theatre looking like that is a tad daunting no matter how thick my skin can grow for tomorrow. Then of course I could take the easy road and carry an instrument, but I have to find someone who would trust me not to leave it behind. I had no time to find ugly curtains, or buy a hat I could live with (and secretly really like) and seriously, there will be NO NEED for any more people showing up in a habit. So I think I'll just wing it. Nothing fancy, nothing too close to the actual costumes, something decent enough to make it thru the whole day at work and not get sniggered at.
And as promised. More shots from the weekend.
