Bet you're all here to for pictures of men dressed up as nuns. Well, only one guy showed up in a habit but there were plenty of other Sound Of Music fabulousness. My very lame attempt at dressing up caused more raised eyebrows at work than at the show (after all, how can i compete with the walking schnitzel and a human goat!). My humble brown pinafore and shiny shoes saw me through a whole day at work ("interesting dress on you today, what's the occasion? " .... not nice or pretty, but interesting. Guys are so fashionably challenged), lunch in the city and farewell drinks at a pub (again a drunken topic of discussion) before I arrived at the show. So pardon me for toning it down just a tad. But well done to the Girlies who came donned as a verse in My Favourite Things. They caused quite a scene in front of the theatre, singing out loud as they spot costumes walking past (Oh look! Girls in white dresses and blue satin sashes... And there's Me a name, I call myself!) My first Sing-A-Long experience was superb. I sang my heart out and never participated so much at booing a fictional character on screen. Now that I am hooked, how fun would THIS be for next time!
