The most exciting thing happening in my week is my reoccurring conjunctivitis surfacing again. Which resulted in an imaginary IQ hike as seen (and told) by others, mostly the men when my nerd glasses made it out the door with me. The most exciting thing happening back home is the premiere of "Gone Shopping". A feature length film written and directed by one of my oldest friends in the world. I wished i had the luxury to take a red eye back home to be with everyone at the opening, and making it back to work today. If anything else, support locally made movies. That's one thing I have learnt living here, where they always celebrated one of their own.

So here's to you Lin, from your very first short film many, many moons ago (where I made a teeny tiny appearance) to this amazing feature today, what a journey. I couldn't be prouder. And dips on the next movie night at your place.
