After spending my first day of year-end hols outside in the 36 degree heat eating spaghetti by the beach at il Lido, window shopping at trendy Claremont, drinking coffee and reading magazines at Cafe Vans, I came home to find my Ixus lenses waiting for me ... at long last . It's been a few tedious months of tracking down suitable lenses for my new Canon, getting scammed on eBay and receiving wrong sizes, this one fits like a glove. I'm so damn pleased.

I'm hosting an air conditioned DVD marathon tomorrow with chilled Frangelico, hommus and carrots sticks, nacho chips and a promised guacamole dip. Outside my apartment will be the forecasted 39 degree summer heat. Just another typical Aussie Christmas ahead!
