Since I started entertaining the idea of moving into a bigger space, I've begun my half-hearted search for the 'next' one. The Little Brown Street warehouse has always been a fave of mine, I'm a gal with dreams of loft living. So when an open-home came up today, I dragged a pal to go check it out together. (He's really there to dissuade me in case I fall frivolously in love and start a bidding war on the ridiculous overpriced rent). We showed up on time ... along with 15 other people. Needless to say the concept is awesome. They retained the old facade and divided the interiors of the old warehouse into little split-level units. But the price of great inner-city living means teeny tiny spaces. It was so small we had to take turns to look inside. Then it got me thinking, how am I going to fit everyone inside if I throw a party for 15? Hypothetically speaking of course. I don't really know that many people. Wait, i think i do. But really ... when will i invite all of them to a party at my house?
So the lofty bubble burst and it's back to Google.
