I left home yesterday in a mellow mood listening to The Beatles chant sanskrit as I drove to my dinner plans, I caught sight of my first rainbow of the year along freeway. This week has not been great, the rainbow was a welcome sign of hope. It made me smile. We watched Planet Earth on Blu-Ray after our sumptuous steamboat dinner (perfect for a wintry wet night) and it just took my breath away. We stayed and watched the credits to make sure there was no special effects involved.

Now i need to go out and hunt down green tea and black sesame ice cream.
