I took myself out tonight into the city for some quiet time after a rather hellish week of living thru a terrible head cold and adapting to big changes at work. Today was the first day my cold subsided into harmless sniffles and my work day seemed somewhat normal again. I went in search for a gift I need to take with me to a party tomorrow and pick up something for myself with my birthday voucher. Who would've thought I waited this long to find something to buy, and still have half of it leftover for next time!
