There's always something spooky about old unused hotel rooms and long hollow corridors. This is an example of a good horror movie corridor. If there weren't about 50 other people mulling around (and an open bar just to the left), I wouldn't have been comfortable spending my night looking straight into the row of abandoned rooms. I like the feel of the old Subi Hotel. I like the creaky floors and how they still have doors into rooms but didn't really want to know what's on the other side. I like how it was a private birthday party and I especially liked drinking all the wine I want. I liked my post-drinks late night steaming laksa with came in handy on a bitter cold night. I especially liked coming home past midnight and was a couple of hours away before I was ready for bed.
