A last minute decision to walk down to the foreshore to catch the finals of the Redbull Air Race left me unprepared and badly sunburnt. But it was totally worth it. Especially watching it on tv for the last 2 years and hearing the planes from my apartment. My little pocket-size camera caught some of the action as it whizzed past, feeling rather inferior to the big Canon muthas everyone was whipp'in out.

Everyone must be talking about the F/A 18 fighter jet fly-by (totally the best in show!) as the highlight of the event but this dog who kept looking like it's about to take a crap all afternoon ... and yet it never did ... amused me the most!
