The pinnacle of my food extravaganza on this trip home has to be the 6 course degustation dinner at a french modern restaurant called Gunther's. I've never had fine dinning back home, mostly because there is just too much great food out there that doesn't cost as much as my weekly rent. But this trip we decided to venture outside our normal price bracket and dig deep for a night of indulgence.

You know it was exquisite dinning when i refused to whip out my camera out of politeness, but mostly out of fear of offending the chef. So only the petit fours got documented. By this time, i had eaten my way thru all 6 courses and could hardly manage the lovely truffle macaroons. And i have also paid for the most expensive meal to date.
