The year we decided not to join the masses to watch the usual formation of Australia Day fireworks, it looked so good on tele! Damn they have up their game 'cos i saw multi-colored balls of fireworks!
This year we started early on our chinese new year celebrations. I had my first yu-sheng on Oz Day (and hopefully there will be more to come) which is pretty much the thing i look forward to eating most this time of the year. We drank wine and ate peking duck, i even learnt to make creme caramel for the occasion (success on third try, i was amazed at my commitment to follow through). And the best bit, there was a balloon animals DIY kit. Yee-har! |
